Students are expected to attend school every day unless they are ill. Attendance is compulsory and every absence must be explained by written or verbal information from parents or caregivers. If a child is absent without explanation, an SMS message will be sent alerting the parent/caregiver at 10am. Please advise your child’s teacher of any illness or injury that is likely to result in an absence of more than a few days by submitting an attendance note via Compass. If a student is absent multiple times without explanation or has prolonged periods away from school the Allendale Primary attendance team will contact parents/caregivers directly and may conduct a home visit.
