Allendale Dental Therapy Centre (DTC) is located near the school canteen. We offer free general dental care, provided by the State Government of Western Australia as part of the School Dental Service (SDS).

We always want to be able to talk to you about your child’s teeth and any treatment they might need so we really want parents and carers to come along to appointments. It is your responsibility to transport your child to appointments. After your child’s dental check-up, if we find further general dental care is required such as fillings, extractions, x-rays or fissure sealants, we will seek additional permission from you to provide this care.

Specialist services, such as orthodontics and oral surgery are not available, however if your child needs more complicated treatment, you will be informed and a referral issued. Parents /carers are responsible for the costs of these services.

There is no cost for the care provided in the DTC, however the School Dental Service can access the Commonwealth Government’s Child Dental Benefits Scheme for those families who are eligible.

After hours urgent dental care is available from private dentists or the Geraldton Regional Hospital Emergency Department. A night time emergency advice service is available by telephoning 1800 098 818 between 6.30pm and 8.00am every day of the week.
